Or if you season it correctly the first time you don’t need to use water, you can scrape it off while warm then just add some more oil to it, no need for water
The whole high smoke point can’t be olive oil kinda thing is a lie. Oil can reach its smoke point and be fine, it has to reach WAY past its smoke point before it’s bad.

OLIVE OIL IS TOO EXPENSIVE...IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE?
Soaps fine so long as it doesn't have any Lye. I use it once a week or whenever I don't want the previous meals "flavor" in the meal I'm about to cook.
Canola oil is terrible for you. Use butter or beef tallow

Too much is too much. It would take me 2 meals at least to eat that.
